     I am Kelley Bates-Hodges a private care manager in the Greater Long Beach, CA area.  I haves a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a certificate in Gerontology from California State University at Long Beach and a Master's degree in Gerontology from California State University at Dominguez Hills.  I have owned and operated my own business as a care manager for the last 3 years and I continue to work in the public sector as a Resident Service Coordinator for Long Beach Brethren Manor a senior HUD apartment building with over 300 residents. 

     In my career I have case managed for SCAN Healthplan through the Multipurpose Senior Services Program and for the City of Lakewood, California.  I have also performed money management and volunteer coordination through The Jewish Community Center.  I have assisted both seniors and younger disabled throughout my career and will continue to do so.  I often work with many community physicians, facilities, and local resources.  I enjoy this population and targeted my education in order to enhance the quality of people's lives while still appreciating the opportunity to have a rewarding field of practice.
